I drove the blown boss today and got into wot and burned some serious rubber. I am sure that was caused by dumps bringing in all the hot air towards the fuel tank.

On a serious note, I think I finally got my ignition problems fixed.

Probably caused by the fuel boiling in my tank.

At any rate in Quantum Leap the main character goes back in time to fix things, one of his trips he goes back to some military base where they're doing sonic boom testing in the 50's or something and he designs a fuel cooler because the planes kept blowing up from the fuel boiling at high speeds.
