End of an era....Sold my Z

Kind of a sad day for me as today I sold my 1981 280ZX that I have owned for the past 6+ years.

Took it out for a final drive last night and got one last picture of it...I'm going to miss it. It was clean as hell.





Made me pretty sad to see it go as for the last 6 years it has not been a daily driver, but a car that I took out strictly for personal enjoyment. I absolutely loved driving that car.

I've owned 8 Datsun Z's though, and it's time for me to start looking for #9. I'm going to go in a different direction though and I'd like to find a full track car...Something like this http://www.race-cars.com/carsales/ot...06365619ss.htm

Unless the right deal comes up I probably won't buy anything til next year. Man it's going to suck going all summer without having a Z to drive! I've had a Z for the summer months since 1999!

They are great cars....nothing like driving a 2200lb 50/50 balanced RWD sports car.

I can't wait to get one and start roadracing.
