A good equalizer is an event I competed in in Texas a month ago.

Day Two == Dyno Pull in the Hot Sun at Henessey's Place (outdoor DynoJet)
Top Pull (Tommy Bahn built Supra with twin turbos @ 1413 RWHP)
Crowd favorite: Heffner Twin Turbo Viper @ 1212 RWHP
Day Three == Drag Race
Day Four == 60 mph to 130 mph competition

Very few cars good at all (4) events...winning Ultimate Street Car Challenge was
a 1190 RWHP Twin Turbo Viper (Heffner: Yellow with black stripes featured in Exotic
Car Magazine last year).

This is a good competition for you V-8 turbo guys!

Oh, and Houston has some of the world's fastest street cars out and about on weekends,
I cruised with quite a few of them. Ex: Bob Helm's (ex Pro Pro Stock driver with a 522 CI twin turbo viper coupe
with a Lenco (or some kind of probuilt custom drag racing AUTOMATIC transmission). Oh, and then there is Tommy Bahn's
Silver singe turbo Supra that does 227 Mph in the standing mile!, to name a couple...
