Ooops

As some of you know from reading the parts section I had a little oops this weekend. Friday night on my way to a friend’s softball game I piled the right side of my car into a curb. Now I know the first question everyone is wondering is how, besides too much speed, the road is really domed and the road I was turning onto heads down from the road I was on. So as soon as I cleared the crest of the road the suspension unloaded and did not have enough weight on the front tires to turn so I stayed going in a straight line until I hit the curb.

The pony will be revived!! hope to see it back to life!! That shit happens then we learn and try not to let it happen again. Glad its not a new stang cause that would be well over twice the $$ to get it back to normal!

It sucks, but I already have the front stripped down ready for the control arm to be pulled so I can replace the ball joint then it will be off to the frame rack to get the front frame rail ahead of the strut tower pulled back down.

I think a friend knows where there are 2 wheels for me, and I am working on finding a fender and ordering the other parts I need. I am hoping to have it back in action within a month.

yeah, i nailed a curb once too (long story.) my turbines cracked exactly like yours. luckily for me though i didnt do any other damage and people give turbines away for free. but its also i nice time to maybe look at new wheels.
