    YOU SAID IT!

I'm so sick of these greedy bastards who take MY HARD EARNED MONEY and spend it on crap.

When using a lens with such a narrow depth of field as an f1.8, I imagine manual focusing would come in handy.
You will probably pay more at NCE than KEH, but it's your call. The viewfinder is fine on the D70. Yes, it's a tiny bit smaller, but the only people that really have an issue are the reviewers in magazines and guys like Ken Rockwell.

Manual focus is fine, as long as it is not your only option. With an older lens on a D40, it is your only option.

The truth be told, some people have been getting back MORE from the government then they paid. Bush'e stimulus payments are being sent to people who already receive tax credits in access of their with holding. And, I am not just talking about the poor.

My brother is a DR and is a resident. He made $42k last year and has three kids and a wife. His tax return was larger then what was withheld during the year due to child tax credits, PLUS he still gets a stimulus check for $2100.

Good for him, but that is welfare.

Kinda like the goofy loud guy that sells the thick book for $39.95 on TV that wears the Riddler costume.

(psst... the book can be loan out through the library)

The point was that it isn't welfare because they paid for it.

This thread started with the stim. payment and now we are on to camera's? WTF?

BTW, I think this Bush payment is really funny. The stupid liberals don't know how to respond. For years they have been bitching that the rich don't pay enough taxes (which is a blatant untruth) and now the government essentially is handing out money to everyone, except the rich, and they are still bitching about it.

Every tax increase results in a DECREASE in tax revenues, while tax decreases INCREASE tax revenues. Know why? Because the top few percent of the wage eraners pay the majority of the taxes and when taxes increase, the rich stop spending, hold on to their money, and don't invest in projects because they don't really need the money in the first place. When taxes lower, the opposite happens.

The best thing for everyone, including tax revenue, is a healthy economy, not raising or lowering taxes.

Manual focusng will slow you down. VRII autofocus lenses take great pics and you control your depth of field in other ways depending on the shooting mode.

I was at kowalskis this morning... I think we need to pass a bill that people who are on public assistance can not shop at specialty stores like Kowalskis, Bylerys, Lunds and ETC.
