The Iraqis can take care of themselves, they're adults, we need that money to take care of our own people! Some people say the economy is so bad they've even considered getting a job!

    Damn that Bush!

But ya, other than that, totally free.
Can we break it down to at what rate each income bracket will be paying it back to which income bracket?

I still think this whole thing is a sham. Instead of giving me a $600 advance on next years taxes, how about government just keep the money and LOWER TAXES.

Oh wait, that can't happen because we have a money-pit of a war to fund.

Anyone else get frustrated with this BS?
How about being more frustrated with the money we spend on welfare, and taking care of people that don't want to take care of themselves? The war bill in a mere drop in the bucket compared to that bill. We spend 140 Billion / MONTH paying out shit for welfare, and people that should be doing shit, we only are spending 145 Billion / YEAR on the war. Although I think there is better places the war money could be spent it isn't shit compared to welfare.

Hey you want some money? China just gave me a couple billion! Don't worry about paying it back, we can just raise taxes when the time comes!

They could have easily just cut spending by whatever this is costing. The stimulus is essentially a generic band aid that doesn't stick.

Yes, in comparison it seems weird... Actually, seems greedy of people in my opinion. I am excited about $600 of none taxable income, but I disagree with every step of it going into my pocket. But hell, why not ride the economy into the ground!

Example: "So when do I get all this money back?"

"Your $600 stimulus payment should come in the beginning of May, and your $5800 fed return should come sometime in November of 2012."

"Whew! As long as that stimulus payment comes in May, that's great news. Awesome, thanks."

It was kind of like "WTF". And this wasn't just a couple of people or something, this was the case with a LOT of people. I just found it somewhat strange.

Don't be fooled, this is just a get-out-of-the-MN-gas-tax-free card for this year.
