Well it appears to be fixed.
Problem #1. shorted coil was causing the double barrel shotgun miss-fire
Problem #2 My Sears timing light of over 10 odd years doesnt seem to read correctly.
So way back a year ago when it wouldnt re-start it was a coil problem, but I didnt know that at the time. The first thing I did was remove the complete dist and replaced the TFI, well when I reset the timing it wasnt right....
Cliff notes, bad coil, bad timing light.
