got a new gun today

remington model 7600 30-06. now i have to a scope, sling and a larger magazine

anyone ever use one of these... are they accurate and reliable? i was using a winchester lever action 30-30 for deer hunting/pig killing before, now i got this

I have a Remington Model 740 woodsmaster semi auto and have never had a problem downing a deer with the first shot.

it would really be silly to get a larger magazine.. how many shots do you need? if you can't kill it with 1 shot, you shouldn't shoot at it.

i've never shot that model, but 30-06 is a good sized gun for deer. 30-30 is also though.

did you get a deal on it? i'm looking to buy a new shotgun this summer and am looking to get it as cheap as i can, which isn't cheap at all.
