I agree with this. I too know a couple of people in the service industry and you a right on with who they remember. If you are a shitty tipper (unless it is deserved) or an asshole, you best not return

I totally agree that don shelby needs to be fired. He has purposely put political bias into this news program night after night to the point that there is no way to tell if your getting the news stories as they happened. Some things are included to persuade you and specific information is being withheld. The public deserves to get their news in its most basic, raw form so that they can decide for themselves what they think of it.

I agree with ALMOST your entire post.

If I get a drink(s) comped, I do add extra into the tip for that but not the retail value of that drink. They comped the drink to make ME happy, if I include the entire cost of the drink then the only person who gained anything is the server/bartender.... I didn't save/gain anything as originally intended.

Usually a comped drink is a way for the bar/restaurant to say thank you for your business. They want you to save the cost of the drink, not give the equivalent value to the bartender.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying what you do is a bad thing, it's just not expected. If they gave me a 4 dollar drink I'd add 2 bucks into the tip.... not 4.

Please show him my post, The public isn't as stupid as he thinks and only when he misinforms them. In their busy schedules people don't have time to verify if the news he gives them isn't slanted to suite his viewpoint, he's doing a great disservice to his entire audience. Leave politics out of it, give the public the basic raw story and let the people form their own opinions.

Many, many, people are not going to properly dispose of those mercury filled incandescent light bulbs and there are many other bad features that he is not telling his audience about. Let people decide what kind of bulb they want to buy without forcing them from an arm of the law. Why can't he report both sides of any issue or just drop it altogether and say nothing. This kind of manipulation and scare tactics reminds me of when Paul Wellstone was all over the media saying that overhead powerlines where causing cancer, it took a long time for this non issue story to unravel but in todays media, people like don shelby wont let their misguided opinions die.

I agree with all of Don's viewpoints. It's slugs like you that are killing this world. I can't wait for the emissions testing to come back. I will finally be able to breathe. The smoking ban was a god send. I hope they will enforce it in the general public homes and also they need to strike down the conceal and carry. Too many people are getting killed.

Are you saying that CC permit holders are responsible for an increase in deadly shootings? I know of one shooting where a CC permit holder was convicted of murder. Can you please elaborate on how the CC law has caused the number of shootings to increase.

Keep in mind, Minnesota has always been a CC state, you just needed a really good reason for needing the permit to get approved. They basically changed one word in the wording of law from "may" issue a permit to, "shall" issue a permit. (as long as all the background requirements are met)

Do you really want them to take away one of our constitutional rights? Be careful what you wish for..... it might come true! Along with another right, and another right, and so on! Where will it stop?

The way I see it..... don't put yourself in a situation where someone might want to shoot you and you'll be fine, nothing to worry about! Now, if you're a car jacker, an armed robber or someone who likes to physically threaten people then you might have a reason to be concerned.
