Creditors call wrong house.....

I have creditors calling for different people all the time....none of them are ever looking for me or people Ive heard of. This ever happen to you guys?

One guy told me I needed to tell him 3 times that the person they were looking for did not live at the number they had called. Im guessing there isnt much I can do about it besides change my number.

They always call during dinner too, fuckers.

When I activated my ATT Moto Razor back last june the folks at the store neglected to inform me that the previous owner the number lost it because the failed to pay their bill. Obviously since the previous owners financial status is private information you will never know if you get a dirty number. Shame is its a great easy to remember number, but is like a smokin hot chic with and STD.

So anyway, these fucks have called me everyday since LAST june looking for Shaneyney.

In a nutshell, they shouldnt just handout phone numbers to deadbeats. Dont the phone companies check credit status anymore?

Actually phone companies really don't check for credit anymore either. True, you do have to give them a SSN, but all that they do is check to make sure that you don't have a previous debt with them. They could really care less if you owe $6000 to Visa and are in the rears for another $5000 in interest.

And yes, tell them 3 times that 'Shaniqua LaPorche Towanda Princess Jackson' doesn't live at that number, and you have no clue who she is. After that I would recommend contacting the Atty. General. and the BBB

I figured that. This is why autodialers should be outlawed. It's a form of harrassment if I have to take time out of my day to call them and argue with them that I'm not the person they're looking for.

They can't harass you like that. There's pretty strict laws in place, and you can sue the shit out of them. Get the name of the collector, and inform them if they call you again you'll be reporting them to the attorney general as well as the police for harassment.
