Who else put insurance on their whip?

After last night's rain I decided fuck it....roads around here are clean enough and it's time to go for a drive. Called up and got insurance put back on the Z (it's good starting tomorrow) so first thing tomorrow I'm going for that first drive of the year.

Yeah we are supposed to get a little more snow mixed with rain which means they will probably salt the roads again. But fuck it, insurance is only $50/mo.

You can drop it to storage insurance for the winter while having a loan.

I forgot to see how much it is with full coverage....since my car is only valued around $5k-6k I don't see much of a need to spend 2x as much on insurance....but who knows, maybe it's only $15 more per month. I did bump my personal injury protection from $20,000 to $120,000 so that added a few bucks per month.

Getting older with no tickets fucking rocks. I do have one accident on file from 2005 when some A-rab motherfucker jihaded my truck on a stopped freeway (motherfucker merged into my STOPPED lane of traffic ). Insurance ruled it 80% in his fault and 20% in mine for being there.

I also have an unreasonable acceleration that I pled guilty for and for being the only one to dress up for court and the only one to be honest therefore making his life easier, the prosecutor moved it from my driving record to my criminal record and brought the fine down to like $60 . I coulda hugged that asshole.

I remember when I bought my first car, a 1978 280Z my liability insurance was like $350/mo for the first 6 months with a clean record....I couldn't believe it!

Yup. It's like $5 a month too and with some companies, if you have a DD you can still stack benefits and get the multiple car discounts, therefore saving you more than the $5 it cost to insure.

A Civic with full coverage, are those rates with full coverage? Allthough living in the city adds a few dollars versus in a suburb I might have to do some insurance shopping.

Go talk to Fred Horning with Farmers, hes right by the Sun Ray Taco Bell. A friend referred me to him years ago. He beat everyones prices. But Civics are on the most stolen list.
