Thats the former Pillsbury Mansion on Lake Minnetonka. It's pretty sick, I worked security for a formal event there once and got the full tour. The staff house is about 3x bigger than mine...

A function for the Queen of the Lakes / Aquatennial. Basically stood down by the pool while the candidates tanned / swam making sure nobody came down there and violated them, then later on they had a formal dinner that required no security whatsoever. I ate food and drank beer.

Do the math. That is for the amount that was paid for the place, roughly $12million. There was a law on the books that prevented the assessed value from increasing more than 13% per year, regardless of the actual appreciation. They are grandfathered in to a lower tax bracket. Now, the new buyer would be forced to pay a tax rate commensurate with the sale price.
