Considering replacing the daily driver zx3 for an ls... not worried about gas mileage. I'm more curious about problems anybody knows about or what to look for on a 2000 lincoln ls with about 80k on it.
i think they're good looking cars, i used to ride to school with a kid that had one, it was pretty slow, thats all i know about it.
id personally rather have a zx3 though. i guess i dig hatchbacks.
well were do I start. I had an 00 LS bitch literally fell apart at 80k tranny went and head gaskets started to leak. The early ones are junk. The newer 04's arent as bad from what I heard. When I worked at ford we didnt see many of the newer ones because we didnt sell many. I would not buy an early LS to save my life.

only had one issue with my moms ls 90k miles on it, valve cover gaskets are a repeat repair every 50k, other than that shes had 0 issues with her 00 ls with a 3.9V8 all in all a great car. its almost as fast as my 97 gt, but that thing could frum roll all day long especially at 50+mph it will just fly

I love the looks of the LS, feel meh about the interior, and HATE the 4V powerband. That's all I can add.
