I have a pair of 26 gal air tank carcasses, several rusted heads/blocks, etc. Probably at least a half ton of metal thats useless and taking up space in my garage/basement. Where's the best place to take this so I can get back a couple bucks?

Just be sure there are no mailing labels that might have your name and address on them. I've heard the DNR will track down people who throw things into the river.

Put it outside, and give it 3 days. You're guaranteed to have and least some old black dude imitating Sanford and Son come up to you and ask to take it, or some younger crack or meth head actually take it in the middle of the night. Better success will be had if done towards the end of the month.
