Ive been holding out on making any decisions over HD and Blu-Ray but now that it is pretty evident that blu-ray is taking the market over I bought picked up a 80gb PS3.

PS3 = $533
HDMI Cable = $40
BD Remote for PS3 = $25
Movies = $20-30/each

Being able to see blackheads on billy bob thorntons face = Priceless

what tv did you get? i was going to get a ps3 for blu ray playing too.

Was thinking a 50" sony bravia lcd... dunno yet though want to know how easy it is to replace back light if it ever breaks.
