Computer Gurus, what does thid mean?

I know its small, zoom in if you need to, I just bought a new laptop, and I dont really game on the PC, but help me understand more what the memory means, I have 128 MB dedicated, but it can pull 700+ MB more if it needs it? I ran a test with 3dmark 05, and it kicked my computers ass! Just wondering where it leaves me. Computer is a HP with a AMD turion duo core, 2 Ghz, 2 gigs of ram, and an nVIDIA graphics card

Yep. It will pull memory from your system Ram, and use it for video Ram.

Integrated nVIDIA card, but like I said, it seems to have more than enough memory available to it.

if u had 1 gig of video memory it wouldn't even help it. it is slow and any thing integrated isn't going to be great.

memory, speed, GPU processor all factor in, amount of memory means nothing if it doesn't have any horsepower

ya i noticed on my laptop 64mb to 128 doesn't change much.

use the sticker analogy, the more stickers your car has doesnt mean its any faster or better. laptops suck for gaming....however the new gateway kicks total ass with an 8800 integrated

So, I found a good deal on 2 gig sticks of ram, would another gig of ram help at all? If I am understanding it right I am using all that I have right now, correct? Or would upgrading to 3 gigs (from 2) speed things up even more.?

no nothing u are gonna do is going to help for high end graphics on a laptop. they are meant for mobility, if u plan on roaming around basements hustling kids for their milkmoney you are gonna have to sling a desktop and a monitor...
