MN trail stickers for sleds..

I'm having a handful of people from school up to my parents cabin next weekend for some snowmobiling. I have some friends from ND and SD coming with their sleds and was wondering what they need to be legal on the trails.

Have to have a MN state trail sticker. Alot of big game registration stations should be able to sell them. They are like $15 a piece.

Im leaving for Two Harbors tomorrow around noon. Gonna be prolly around 8 of us going there. Have fun USAlx50. Cant wait. Still gotta put my trail sticker on. Stupid thing. Should just make that a part of the registration costs. Not like theres millions of people that come to Minnesota just for the trail riding.

they could add the cost into the mn registration, and then still require the seperate sticker for non-residents.
just seems dumb that we need a 3rd sticker when they could figure it into the registration costs. i think 90% of all mn trails receive some state aid, so we all need it anyway.

I dont wanna put another stupid state sticker on my f-in sled tho. keep it in my wallet but Im sure i should put it on for this trip. Damned sure Ill be tagged if I dont. Just dumb.

At least MN sticker is tiny. The trail sticker I had to put on to ride in WI is huge and florescent yellow. MN should be like WI for snowmobiles, only non-residents need a trail sticker in WI.

Yeah, i noticed this years are a lot smaller then they used to be. I think we have a few extras still but there should be a lot of ND/SD sleds with. Should be more of a drinking weekend since there will be that many of us and girls with.. Cant wait to tap the kegs and hit the hot tub after sledding

You may want to have an emergency contact person in case you are in trouble. I could be that person. Location of said kegs and hot tub and time you will um ah hem not be there.

there is a little gap/overhang from my headlight to the hood, i slid the trail sticker under that so you just barely see it once you're right on top of it. and i cut down the registration stickers alot to make them as small as possible.
