    computer question

    On windows 2000 is there a way to see records of log ons?

    My computer is off during the day my question is. Can I determine if it has been turned on by someone else?

      You can generally look in the event Viewer, you will see what time a shit ton of services Start up...

      Such as you know it was off at 8 am and then boom @ 9:30 you have a shit ton of stuff in the event viewer..

          Look in the System Event Log for event 6005, this is the machine turning on. If you right click on the System event log, you can go to view and filter to find all the 6005 events.
