Well if anything was said beyond what I stated you're buying into false statments. The person that you're talking about is on IRC all the time and I'm sure he could go back on the logs and show you what I said.

Do you realize your are a joke on this forum? Mention your name around any tcs members in a real life gathering and everyone just sighs "oh god..." and then the group has a good laugh doing impressions of your bullet posts.

But thats cool. Keep thinking that talking down to people is making you real friends.
You are welcome to your opinion. I'm not concerned with what you think of me or any of your friends for that matter. You appear to continually mistake TCS for real life, but that's ok. I'll wait to judge you by actions in real life. Until then, say whatever you desire.

Here's the humor in all of this... that you somehow think I hate you or something. I don't know you so how/why would I hate or dislike you? I argue with the things you post. I can comment on them. As for what was said at lunch, I can't make it up. If I am incorrectly recounting a conversation to which I was never a part, so be it. Frankly, I told the guys to invite you again as I have nothing against you.

Remember, the internet is just that. Perhaps we have spoken in person? I could not tell you as I don't know who you are. Regardless, you have every right to disagree with me. No problem.

How much does anyone want to bet on this one?
Back on track of the original thread.

Gee seeing as how Nissan actually promotes racing of it's automobiles quite activley, and the fact that the GPS system unlocks the top speed of the vehicle when you are on a track says something about what Nissan WANTS it's owners doing.

Have the thing chipped to lower speeds on the freeway, and when the car recognizes that it's no longer governed by DOT and other legislation, it opens the car completely up. Fucking brilliant!

Like I said before, I like the clever use of tech. I just don't like that they could also use it for nefarious purposes. Once I purchase the car, it's MINE. I don't need someone looking after me. AND if they build it for a specific purpose, then stand behind it when it is used for said purpose.

Wouldn't those dyno number be skewed since they are not measuring power with the weight of the wheels sapping power from the engine? Those wheels/tires probably weigh 150-200 lbs. Thats a lot of rotating mass to remove.

Can't they compensate for the weight removal on a hub dyno by adjusting the load put on the car?
