    Mysterious Roommate: It Finally Happened

    Early last week he came and got the rest of his things. I noticed today that he left his keys. Here it is already the 10th and no rent check. My rental agreement calls for 2 months notice of when you plan to move, whether you stay for that 2 months or not. He only told me at the end of last month he was moving and he told me to my face, he would honor the contract. I think he thinks since his stuff isn't here, he doesn't have to pay. I only have one number to get ahold of him at and he never answers it, i've called him a few times this week already. I know he's living with his girlfriend now, but I don't know where that is. He really seemed like a nice, honorable guy, but i guess my fears were verified today. So it looks like i'm just out that money.

    I guess i had a little more faith in people than i should have. I've learned my lesson for next time, my rental agreement is going to be a LOT more specific next time.

            haha there you go.

            i do have a signed contract, but apparently it wasn't specific enough and i didn't note the day he gave me "notice", so i think i'm still out of luck there.
