So I sold a Yakima bike rack to a guy last night that I had on CL for a few weeks. He called me 5 times Sunday and Monday and looked at it for 20 minutes when he finally came over. He jewed me down from $100 to $80, and then I helped him to his car with it. So this morning he calls and says he wants to return it. I'm like wtf why? He says it's rusty and the nuts will not move. So I explain to him that CL is pretty much a garage sale and that it's his now, and tell him if he doesn't want it to sell it on CL. Some of the people on CL have some fucking nerve.

I sold a set of brand new in the box AR rims a couple of weeks ago to some douchebag who didn't know how to measure bolt pattern. I told them that I guarantee them to fit because he had an old Thunderbird and these rims were 4.5" BP. He mounted tires on them and put them on his car... they fit. He drove it around for a week but now he says he wants his money back because the tires aren't wide enough for the 8" rim. He says, "my tire warranty won't hold up." I called him an anal retentive bitch and asked him who the fuck is worried about their tire warranty on a car that he rarely drives. He said he is going to come to my work and give the rims back to me and he wants his money back... to be continued

I'm selling two cars that total $3100.00 and some dick bag emails me and offers me $1700 for them both! I',m like wtf are you just stupid or what? He emails me back and says he will go $2000.00 for both, and I reply fuck no and state I'd only be making $1,000.00 on them by selling them at $2k.

The guy is a dealer up in northbranch trying to rob people of cars so he can make money on them, ltd has had emails from him also he said. I buy and sell cars to make money not friends.

You talk like 1k profit for 2k invested is a bad thing. Keep up with that mentality and you'll keep the cars a long time. But don't listen to me. I don't know anything about gross turnover.

I always say turn over gross but I do this for a living. It's alot easier to milk them for all they're worth when you don't rely on the sale to pay the bills. Both cars would sell quick if he was asking $1200 each which would still make him more money. He also only has about 1k into both of them. It's still a 100% return.

On a lighter note I bought a pair of uber high mile Buicks today, I'm sure I'll sell both of them before Dirty sells one of his, yeah, I'm just that good.

I've got $1260.00 into both and I don't really care if they sell or not so why not milk them for every last cent.
