Doing the exhaust on my explorer and I have some old cats the came off it (4) and was wondering who in town pays the most for them, I know a few people on here have dealt with this, so if you have any info that would be great, $200-300 would be nice to help out with the cost of the other shit I've had to do, thanx guys.

this place is in blaine and they will buy and pay good money for your convertors. it is best to have the pipes cut right before and after the converter because they usually stick some probe in there to analyze how much of certain metals are in there, or some crap like that.

bill,
I always go to NRI (nation recyc institute) in hugo.
They gave me $45 for the front cat off my escort last week.
On V8 fords with duals, the cats R smaller and I'd expect less.
Also my price was on the front cat. The back is worth far less.
If U got $100 that would be a serious score.Mustangless!

They probably take them elsewhere to recycle them.Originally posted by Stormwalker View PostYou guys are lucky. I take my stuff into Crow Wing County Recycling, and when I have cats amongst the stuff, they just give me $20 per cat."A train station is where the train stops. A bus station is where the bus stops.
