Lawn mower racing any one?

2nd weekend of October the Finish Line Cafe in Princeton set's up a track behind the Restaurant. Last year there was about 10 of us. IIRC winners get like a $25 gift card for the Restaurant...to buy us all beer. There was a entry fee but it's not much.

Last year there was no rules really, helmets and eye protection. Most just take old riders and swap the pullies. Most of the racing is below 30mph. There might be a few that are involved with USLMRA to show up, they make 20-30hp with a single cylender (depending on class) and race around 45mph.

Are there pulls there? Or just racing? A friend of mine boosted his lawn mower and it does pretty well at pulls.

Yes, there is garden tractor pulls. If you look at the second pic down (from my first post) you will see the sled in the back ground.

But the place is under new owership, so you might want to have your friend call to find out.




This kid only has like a 18hp, it's nuts. If you enjoy karting, you need to do this.

Sure, build it. There's no rules against it. But thats if you like shooting fish in a barrel.

Yep Speed channel had it on last tuesday. And they do have enough power to go 70mph if geared for it, but usually dont race over 40-45 mph.
