I finished everything at 10pm tonight and started it up for the first time in 5 months...it's always a little nerve racking listening to all the sounds after doing engine and tranny mods. It took a while for the lifters to quiet down.
It didn't want to idle too well in gear, especially when in Drive and stopped. It surged a few times and died a few more...but it did get better the longer I let it run. I did get the SES for a random cylinder misfire....that bugs me...but it will be taken care of after headers and a tune at Hi-Tech. I erased the code with my Predator and so far the light hasn't come back on. The sound and the shake of the car is just what I ws looking for.
I love it. And, the converter feels nice. Around town it drives just like stock...locks up at about 25 mph when the selector is in 3rd. I put about 3 miles on it tonight (no tabs or insurance). Keith...you will be owned
