I cant find the title for a car I'm selling does anyone know anything about what my options are? Can you transfer a car without a title? (I would assume not, but just wondering)

and about 6 months ago, I got a duplicate title 4 working days from the time I applied for it. If it's just a plain jane apply for duplicate It will be there in a week or 2 at very most.

if anything weird has to be changed then it'll be months because of paperwork. but if nothing weird it's done through the DMV computer and it's like clockwork. It's only been this way for a year or so.

If the satellite office can issue it on their computer and there are no complications you can get it in less then a week. If there are any hang ups expect 4-6 weeks.
