    Car apparaisal ??

Anyone know of a place locally that could give me an appraisal on my mustang for insurance purposes? In the event some idiot rear ends me or something I wont be happy with a $2,000 check.

    What company are you with?

If they have it ask them to write you an agreed value policy not a stated value policy. then you tell them what its worth if they agree to it you get it.

I dont think they have a agreed value policy. You need to ask your agent if they will acept an appraisal then and maybe they have a collector form they can insure the vehicle under somehow.. Then you need to track down an apprasor, i'd just google collector car appraiser minnesota or something.

        just a thought.

Worth more than insurance says it is, when you have an appraisal in hand.

Call Hagerty. There is NO way you will get a better deal than with these folks. they do not mess around when it is claim time either. As close to hassle-free as possible.

Al Hagen at yesterday's auto on Lyndale in Minneapolis does appraisals also.

I think that's who my buddy paid for an appraisal on when he was lookin' at an older Mustang to buy.

Haggerty is the only way to go for a specialty car, when mine is done in the spring i'll be calling them. They quoted me $491 a year for full coverage on the SS, insured value $25k. I'll be bumping up to $30k and expect to pay maybe $600 a year, so if anything happens to the car i'm set unlike a regular insurance company.
Buying muscle/sports cars/regular cars/trucks, send me info, I pay cash or credit card if that makes you feel better!
