e85 car does big power @ carcraft last night

Just got done help'n Timmy Vunk finish up his 70 nova w/ a 409 sbc and a f2r reverse procharger blowthru car deal. We fired the car up @ TNT last night @ about 5:00pm Hauled it to carcraft and straped it to the dyno. It has got a carburator on it that u wouldn't believe and it cost more than some cars.
The first pull was break in (Brand new combo) and it did 850 to the tire @ only 6000 rpm. We worked on the carb and on the fourth pull it did 1050 @ only 7000prm. No intercooler either or methonal just e85 in the carb.

It should be lookn to do about 1200 to the tire on e85.
A big thanks to Andy Wicks @ dynotunes for helping us out and staying late to help w/the car.
There are people the said this thing wouldn't make more than 700 to the tire w/a carb but they were very wrong.
U guys should check the car out on saturday it will be there all day and this thing is a full on street car too, after carcraft it will be going on straight e98 where he will race it at brainard in Real Street or king Street.

    Later Dan

I know Tim very well and this car will be a beast in KS at BIR this year.

His Carb is a custom built C&S. Last year Tim's combo went mid 8'S on the juice. This year I think he is shooting for low 8's or better on a small tire and the car still has leaf springs in the rear. I have posted a Video of it before. Here it is again. This is last year , small block with I think a 2 stages of 175.

Oh i remember him, yeah i know him a little bit, chatted with him for a bit at SNG at your campsite. The first time i met him that car had a 355ci wheeler motor in it and a 4 speed, it ran mid or low 11s then n/a, that was at MCSO. quite impressive then for what it was, guess its come a long way then.

I realize that Les, i DO know the difference. I was asking if its like a 121 or a 144 millimeter, cause that is equivalent to what Gary Rohe runs on his blue stang. I was at a FFW race down in cordova two years ago, and talked to one of the racers down there, and they had a 121 mm procharger on their car. I was curious to see if it was as large as one of those.
