Decent HP, not enough TQ. It is definatly a little over the top, but comes equpied. As much as I hate it, it doesn't qualify as a ricer.

hmmm that is what my car should be weighing in at but it will be a lot more than 240/160 course no creature comforts tho

it's a limited edition civic... a run that short of any make and model will fetch a pretty penny; and there will be people lined up for em...

i hate to do this comparisson but 55 grand for the 2000 cobra R was pretty much the same scenario - a very limited run of a car at almost double the price - with the major exception that there's not a whole lot in that price range that would compete with it (at the time), other than the z06...

on the torque... it may not be so bad if the thing came with 5.88 gears or even deeper, but even then, you would need to drive it around like a motorcycle; cruising at 4-5 grand... yeesh! the thing that gets me, is a high revving, high performance smaller engine will get just as bad if not worse gas mileage than a much milder v8... with similar performance. at what point do you draw the line and consider it an exercise in futility?

As far as gas mileage goes, i doubt its that bad. But man, a motorcycle on 4 wheels sure is fun.

I offer anyone a ride in the ACR. I got used to it over the years, but after driving my stock 97ACR for a few days and hopping back in the "race car" its night and day difference.

Torque, in this case, is honestly overrated. The car is made for road-racing, not drag racing. It has no need for torque if you drive it for what it was built for. F1 cars (relatively speaking) don't either.
