Locked Keys in 92 Escort GT

Locked my keys in my '92 escort GT last night (I think, Keys are MIA).

Are these cars easy to get in to? I have seen the sheriff unlock the car with a floppy metal blade between the door and window. Is that something I can do and what should I use?
    Car is in New Hope...
    Thanks
My couch pulls out but I don't.

It's just an Escort. Leave it there.

There is a locksmith that is on the board, RustyLX, or you could do it yourself. Not too hard with a Slim Jim (and not the Macho-man Savage type)
Dear Government, eventually the people with money will tell you to fuck off, and stop paying for those that don't work

What? Its summer time, it would just be like always having your window rolled down. No offense to anyone because I know you both drive escorts, but no one is going to steal it.

Yes, but if you break a window then you have to fix that. Fixing windows is pain in my assholes.

Are you trapped inside the car?

                    El Cheapo lockout kit:

                    Go to the homo depot and purchase the following;

                    1 tree splitting wedge
                    1 50-80 inch steel rod (un-threaded)

On a vise bend the ends 1 inch in on one side and 4 inches on the other.

Insert wedge between the door and pillar and hit pwr lock button... if not equipped with a pwr lock pull the door handle..

If that doesn't work go inside the door (with wedge holding the window and sill pryed open)and try to pull or push down by the latching mechanism NOT the handle.

This set up will open 75% of all cars ever made... becareful of dead locked cars.... will not work on 89+ BMW and Mercedes

for the cost of a locksmith, you could by yourself a lockout kit, and never have to call one ever again.
a simple wedge and long pinky rod can do alot i used to work roadside for many years and never had to call a locksmith.

and yes it will work on mercedes, i just got a 2006 unlocked the other day.
