Grand Cherokee SRT8

While out on a 250 mile trip today I had a run with a GC SRT8. I had switched to my 87 octane tune for the trip and almost regretted that move. Damn those things are fast for a 4800 lb SUV and they sound great! I got him from 50 MPH on up, but not by more than a few car lengths. Woulda been interesting from a dig with his AWD. Cool vehicle, none the less

I figured it would be close as his AWD would let him launch hard and if I spun the tires too hard it would have been all over...But, that it was skool is all about

0-60 the GC is the fastest of the SRT8 models. AWD plus deep gearing make those things a monster off the line. They run out of steam up top however due to those same reasons.
I was able to flog one of these things once, right after flogging a Charger SRT8 even. No comparison off the line. The GC launched stupid hard for any vehicle, let alone an SUV.
