Need spyware....

I have 2 pop ups from spywares that want me to download their software. What is something I can use to get rid of these things? I can't delete them and it says I have "malware threats" Can anyone help me? I don't think this is good. I have adaware, ran a scan, quarantined 120 objects but still nothing. HELP!!!

Spybot is a free download. So is CW Shredder. Try those in addition to Adaware

i use adaware and spybot, probably once every few months, they're both free.

other than that i don't have any antivirus programs, and i am just fine. i think my computer is so old that most of the spy and virus shit is designed to hit newer computers/systems so mine is not affected. or some shit.

i also use firefox and love it!

I wasn't downloading porn. I downloaded spybot and ran 2 system checks. I still have 1 system alert popping up at me. Not sure what to do. Its called spylocked. Adaware and spybot said that it was "fixed" and "quarantined" wtf?

have you restarted your computer since you did the sweeps? if not i would restart and maybe even do them one more time.

Also, Run these Programs in "safe Mode"
TO do this...

When the System is starting up, you need to hit f8 To get the Windows Selective boot screen.
Select Safe mode and hit enter.
Once in safe mode, run the spybot as well as Ad aware.

Not that any one has suggested this yet, but, if you go to
Start> run and type MSCONFIG in the run line, and hit enter, you can clean up your windows start up as well. I would almost guarantee that you have stuff loading at startup you do not need or want.

Hell yes. 1 it's free. 2 its the best AV I have used so far. Not one virus has gotten though since I installed it, and thats not bad considering how sketchy those russians can be.
