A friend of mine was telling me about a professor of his from college. The professor was a bird biologist. He was out in the field and came upon a heron of some sort that was injured. He picked it up to look at it, and before you know it, it used it's bill to poke out both his eyes. He is permanently blind.

That guy is me, because i'm such a badass I managed to keep my hand. There was three of them in that pic pushing trying to get at the water. We got surrounded by 16 of them that day and it took forever to get them away so we could start the boat up again.
