Good HDTV deal, $899 for a 42" westy LCD

I have this TV at home, I got it for 899 on cyber Monday and now it's the same price from Newegg!

Yeah, it doesn't have a tuner, and yeah it doesn't have an uber high contrast rate, but for a sub $1000 LCD it's fantastic. And it's HUGE!

Just thought I'd throw it up if anyone is hunting for a HDTV deal out there.

ULTIMATE IS ALSO blowing TV's out the door if you dont mind just 720P for a second TV or in a game room or ETC. Last week picked up a LG 42" PLASMA with HDTV tuner and 720P. $1097 on the door with in house service warranty. Screaming deal.

Some of the tunerless TVs I've seen, don't even have a coaxil input on them.

Yes not having a tuner means you need a cable box or satellite box that has a tuner in it, which is most every box you get from comcast/dish/direct tv.

Or you can be really geeky and setup a home theater PC with a tuner card in it.

Technically LCD TV's that don't have a tuner are just considered "monitors".

westinghouse is like.. low budget racing.. it still gets the job done though

I'd get the Sceptre over that... 37" 1080p LCD for the same price or for like $200 more, a 42" 1080p...
