According to this article, adding 6 oz of oil in the gas tank when filling up adds 60-65 miles on the tank of gas. :idiot:

and just the fact that they say an extra 60-65 miles is BS, as SJ pointed out, that could be a huge difference depending on vehicle. if it was anything credible, they would claim in terms of mpg. it's simple marketing so people envision themselves going an extra 60 miles before paying more money at the pump.
i would bet there is absolutely zero mileage increase with it and if anything a slight drop.Comment
