Why don't they just raise it to 100% and get it over with?

They don't approve to pay for the stadium without a plan to pay for it, this is simply a series of tax hikes because the dems can't live within their means. Which I'm sure is hard when all of your money is given to you and when you want more you just make the people giving it to you give you more.

Next we will see an assault weapons ban. Why? Assault weapons are not used in criminal activity.... (it's the pawn shop handguns that are used for crime), it's because the government is afraid of it's citizens revolting! The less power in the hands of citizens leading a revolt, the better the chance of the government putting down the resistance of it's citizens - or in Minnesota's case, it's subjects.

People should not be afraid of it's government. The government should be afraid of it's people. God i love that quote.

The gov Pawwwwlenty called it "taxapalooza" today.

He said he'd veto any tax increases. I wonder if they have enough votes to override this crap?

                              I didn't either. It doesn't matter.
MN has almost always been a stuck-on-stupid state.

MOST people are sheep and vote the way wcco tells them to.
MOST libs think this is NEEDED!

Jason Lewis looked up the fact that we are currently the 6th highest overall taxed state in the US currently. With these hikes we could move to at least 3rd, maybe 2nd! WHY??????

They are even proposing installing some friggin box into people's cars and tax them for each mile they drive!

That idiot rep Khan wants an extra 6.5% tax for cosmetic surgery over the normal 6.5%. When asked why, she said "If they can afford cosmetic surgery, they can afford the extra tax."

So, no taxation without representation= if they think you can afford it you get it?

I wonder about someone who is born disfigured or something. Maybe someone who had a bad accident, too. What if they have to pay that extra for Khan because "they can afford to."

And how about that transportation amendment? Over 80% of it went to light rail, when all they talked about was better roads!
Now they want to raise the gas tax for WHAT?? Better roads???
                              HA!

I'm not a big Pawlenty fan, but taxapalooza sums it up pretty good.
