The temporary warm weather has me thinking about riding. What all do you have? I'm pondering maybe getting a bike this summer (used to just ride my dad's 1983 Shadow 750), but kinda can't decide between a cruiser or a taint-rocket.

I love the sound (v-twin) and comfort of cruisers, and my dad's old 750 Honda had decent power, but I also like the thought of having something really nimble like an R6.

I have a brand new Victory hammer. Just sold an FZR600. I love the vic more than anything. Get so many compliments its not even funny and I have like 493 miles on it. Im thinking about getting another FZR or a new R6. yamaha has some sick promos going on right now...

I had 2 r6s and had alot of fun on them, but got a few spendy tickits along the way ( 2 speeds and 2 careless wheele tickits ) not cheap. Now i roll on a a 03 softail HD. No tickits, wont do much of a wheelie

There was an incident with debris falling off a semi on the highway that was far worse than a scratch, so I'd have to give a big negatory on him caring if something happened to the car while I had it.

I do enjoy my gsxr 750.

Scott, if you want a cheap 'inbetween' kind of bike that's sporty, fast, but not a hunched over crotch rocket.. look into a used suzuki SV650.
