Bingo!
They just recalled a ton of ball joints on their Sequoia (sp) and Tundra trucks. They must've taken their ball joints from Dodge.
Edit: It was 533,000 vehicles recalled. 2004-2007 Sequoias and 2004-2006 TundrasLOOK HERE:Originally posted by Pony5.0but hey we have broken up 2 times in the past week and she keeps crawling back to me and she told me she would never crawl back to a guy and i am the only one. she tells me she loves me and everything!

They are still ahead of the curve. When i worked at domestic dealers I bet I did atleast one recall a day on average. And thats just one guy in the shop. You do the mathServicing your Auto, Home, Life, Commercial and Collector & Race Car Insurance needs

No, I am saying you guys make a big deal out of a recall on an import. Do you want me to start posting everytime a new domestic recall comes out? What about all the recalls that the general public never hears about?Originally posted by Xtort View PostSo that means what? Toyota service techs are doing two recall repairs per day per tech?
Weather strips on ford focus
Spring shields on Taurus
Wiper motors on caravans and durango's
rear heat and ac lines on caravans
I could go on and on but I just wanted to give you guys an idea.Servicing your Auto, Home, Life, Commercial and Collector & Race Car Insurance needs

that recall has been in effect for almost 2 years now
The reason is that supposed machining error scratched the ball joint causing it to wear prematurely and have it come appart possibly when driving. It happened to just 2 trucks with more than 220,000 miles each on them. No injurys came from them, but that was enough to have toyota recall them. It was a voulentary recall.
Now that the facts are strait on that, how many deaths from defects have to occur before a government mandandated recall on a domestic brand for something having a little more urgent fail than 2- 220K+ mile vehicles have a part fail that caused no injurys?
My truck was in that recall and it dates back to 2003 trucks ans sequias. It was minute voulentary recalls like this that make me glad I bought the truck I did. At least toyota cared about peoples safety and voulentarily did something instead of killing 20+ people before the government forced a recall cause tires fell appart

I understand you have a religion called LS motors and you have faith that the LS motors break the laws of physics and work better and cost less than anything else ever built. Plus they never wear out.
I disagree.

hell ford never recalled the SHO V8 when they were dropping like flies, or the crown vic when they were burning people alive with ruptured gas tanks, 110 police dead, and a handful of civilians. gm's been like that to with the rusted dog bone that snaps and takes out the steering arm. pick your poison there are cars out there that are fubar.
