It's just a company trying to make a name for itself a-la roush or saleen. Can't blame them for trying, it's not like there aren't thousands of rich kids with lots of daddy's money to spend, and nothing else to spend it on running around.

And let's be honest, getting 450HP out of an STi reliably is no small feat, especially if they're warrantying it. IIRC, if you launch a STOCK STi hard enough the driveline will go bewm in about a month.
