I know that Norm's tires in Little Canada will do it. they mounted my 285/35 on 18" wheels without any problems.

Take 35E N to The Little Canada Rd exit. Turn right, they are about 1/2 mile down the road on the left. PM me and I'll give you my Cell# if you need further details.

P.S I can't believe that those tires won't fit if you have a 10" wide rim. My old tires were 295/35 on 18"s and Norm's didn't have any problems with those either.

Hey thanks Velocity...i just called him and he said no problem , he's gonna do it 2moro.
Give me some more info on that welding you need , what size tubing ?
We only deal in some of the bigger stuff to be honest but we may have something lying around.
It would be stainless only , we dont deal with Aluminum tubing.

                  P.S.
I have a 18x10.5 rim ...... the machine where Keith works kept stopping.
Not only that ... with these rims i have the tire has to go on from the back of the rim and the machine couldnt do it.
"Norm" just told me "not a problem , he does em all day long".

Yeah, another vote for Norm's here....they are awesome....the only place I have ever gone to.

I had 2 of my BFGs for the camaro mounted there and they used the stick on weights w/o me even having to ask for them. They have very good equipment and they are very careful with the customer's stuff.

Does anyone know what kind of machines Norm's uses?

I have seen these Hunter GSP9700 balancers before and they are supposed to be great for high speed balancing. A lot of the Silver State classic and other high speed events use it.

The sad part is that it is somewhat complicated to use correctly and most places don't use it to the full potential.

I try to go to places that have that machine. It does some awesome stuff, like knowing where the spokes are to hide the tape weights behind them. It also positons the weights for you, so that they get placed exactly where needed.

I have heard Norm's is good, too, but a little higher priced. Beats having some dolt ruin a nice rim, though!
