Looks nice. Just remember to have proper ventilation when running the heater.

Requires a tank right? Do they have the line and everything needed to connect to one? I could do propane.

I have a propane torpedo as well as a kerosine torpedo.

The kerosine surely makes more heat for the $$$$ but it smells worse.

My propane needs to run off of a 100 lb tank otherwise the tanks frosts up and needs to be shaken often.

also with the kerosine you just take a can up to the store and fill up where with the propane I have to haul a 100 lb tank up and have it fillled. It's more of a pain in the ass and more expensive.

would you rather spend lots of $$ and screw a hot chick or spend nothing and tax a chubby.

                So most favor propane.

Notch, I dont understand your analogy. I guess Id spend more for a hot chick rather than wacking.... are you saying Im going to have trouble if I use a 20 lb tank? How long will it last?

It wasn't a serious analogy. the point being if you've got $23 bucks and it's gonna cost $50 to score with a hotty you'll take the fatty over freezing your nuts.

If you can afford to spend a little more you'll like propane over kerosine. Theres a trade off.

my propane heater is pretty big and is made to run with the valve wide open. It almost throws off too much heat for a 6 car garage. It doesn't run right with the heater valve less then all the way open.

All I know is that my large propane heater needs a 100 lb tank and frosts up and starts to runs shitty with the 20 lb tank. I'm sure that smaller propane heaters wouldn't have the same problem.

I got a propane tank, I set it in front of the heater, not right in front, but, enough to keep the tank warm. If I run it full tilt, I open a window, it emits water vapor as exhaust and your windows will dew up.

I got a fan on the other side of the garage pointing straight up to try to circulate the air.

i have a kerosine heater. had it forever. works great. always works when i need it to. may smell a little when you first start it up but just start it with the garage open then after a min. or so close the garage.

Propane it dosent stink or spill and with a opt. thermostat a 20 or 30 pound tank last quite awhile also seems alittle quiter than my keroseen one.

Size of the heater will depend on what size tank you need. they all pretty much need a 100 lb but the regulators are different. different flow rates.
have to check the heater requirements.

also have to make sure your propane or kerosene exhaust is vented to outside to avoid dying from breathing fumes.lalso get sick sometimes.

this guy i know once had a standing propane heater that he got from menards and was heating his garage, he had it turned up full blast with the garage door slightly open and ended up at the hospital for carbon monoxide poisioning.

give me a call if you have any ???
