    VGA to Component or HDMI?

I have an older notebook that just has a VGA out. My TV has HDMI and component connections. I want to be able to play movies from my notebook on my TV in HD and I'm having a bit of trouble finding any usefull info. Anyone have any ideas?

true 1080p is supported by HDMI. Component(RGB) only supports 720.

Yes their are cables/adapters out there for that, I doubt you will get HD out.

Your HD drive will probably only play to the laptop screen, not out the VGA output.

I cant imagine how good of quality it would be anyways
You have been banned for the following reason:
Yeah, I'm really tried of cleaning up after you.
Date the ban will be lifted: Never
