This thing really is impressing me. So far there are several things you can do. They have what they call "channels' Currently there is the shopping channel where you can buy old school games and store them on your system. But they currently also have the Mii channel, and the photo channel. With the Mii(me) channel You can create avatars of yourself family and friends that will go onto other peoples consoles and others can visit yours. You can then message said people like a forum such as this. The photo channel allows you to store photos that you can use later on.
My wii started glowing yesterday morning and made to lil "blinks" when it got brightest. I found that I had "mail" and received a message from nintendo sayin the weather channel is now live. I went on there and found that I could receive forecasts for my area but also all around the world! Hell it even gives you forecasts for the fricking south pole!!! The thing is quite amazing! ALso they are adding an internet channel where you can surf the web right on your Wii!
