to hook me up with a sweet deal on a coil pack for my sho. pulled a code for my #6 cylinder misfiring, and coil pack was one of the possible symptoms.

what I need is a sweet deal on one. I looked on www.partsamerica.com and the cheapest one is $109.99 which is fuckin crazy. if anyone works at a shop and can hook a brotha up, let me know. prefferably by tomorrow as I plan to fix after I get done with school.

or if anyone happends to have a coil pack for a 3.4L sho motor, let me know. I can provide a reach around in payment.


also, how the hell to I figure out which cylinder is #6. I look and all I could find is the firing order.

all factors of the code I pulled.


I figure if it was O2's or the cat I would have had issues in more then 1 cylinder. and the coils are known to go bad around 100K or so. and seeing I am chillin at a cool 132k with this being the first one.....and so on.

but then again, I am also a retard.

i have 2 used coilpacks for a 4.6 that are still good. they are not the coil over plug style, they have 4 cylinders per coil.

yes, something. I may have to strap down and finally get into some credit card debt. might beable to pull it off with out using ole blue. but we'll see.



any idea on how to find #6 cylinder? I am a I4 guy. nice and easy down a line

I dont remember which one is number four on those but here is a good rule of thumb. Look at the front of the engine. The plug the farthest forward is cylinder 1. I know this sounds like I am being a wise ass but its hard to explain. Of the foward most 2 plugs (left and right) that one is number 1

i'm not positive on that engine which one 6 is, but on most fords the leading bank goes 1-4, and then the other bank goes 5-8.

actually we should have one to help us with credit. we just shouldn't abuse them

I got a credit card when I switched banks. wells fargo gave me one so I could buy my books for school. I refused to use it because being in debt is a bitch.

I have saved it incase something like this has happend. unexpected thing. I should beable to pay for it with out having to use my credit car, so I shouldnt worry.
