This is a link to the new Bronco concept...sorry, no pics...but it says it comes with a 50hp Nitrous kit...WTF!?!

The part I dont get though is where it says it adds 50hp and knocks 3 seconds off the quarter mile time ...and the engine puts out 128 hp/ 244 lb.ft. torque...from an intercooled turbodiesel...

Bronco concept...with Nitrous?

I was just talking to my wife on the way home from snowmobiling (while driving in her '02 Explorer)qaaa that the country needs a midsize SUV with a turbodiesel. Even our midsize Explorer, pulling two sleds on an aluminum trailer, doesn't get over 12mpg. Sucky. A turbodiesel midsize SUV would have equal/better torque and probably get almost 25mpg pulling the same load.

Anyway, good find.

There are pics of it in the Autoweek link in one of the '05 Mustang threads. I like the way it looks. The way the market is right now, i'm sure there is room for just about any truck or SUV concept they can come up with. They shouldn't limit it to only the Turbo diesel though. Ford doesn't sell a 2-door SUV right now, and it could go head to head with the Wrangler like it was intended to do in the '60s.
