I'm sorry ,but, he should have just drove into a brick wall or put a gun to his head rather than involving an innocent person trying to make a living for themself and family. I feel for the truck driver more than your friend if thats the case. Just imagine how the truck driver feels. (that's if the driver of the truck wasn't killed) What's the whole story? How is the truck driver? I hope he/she is allright or I'll really be pissed.Originally posted by roast'em89 View Posthis name was jon shnackenberg. it was a suicide. he went head on with a semi. he was 16

Car-truck collision kills Princeton High student
Tom Ford, Star Tribune
Last update: October 06, 2006 – 9:25 PM
For the third time in eight months, a car crash has taken the life of a Princeton High School student, this time a 16-year-old junior.
Jon Schnackenberg was killed late Thursday night near Winona after his car crossed the center line along County Road 43 and was struck by a southbound semitrailer truck, according to the State Patrol.
In March, two other students -- one who would have been a senior this school year and another who would have been a sophomore -- were killed in crashes in the Princeton area.
"It's been a tough time since the first of March," said Princeton High Principal Peter Olson.
Most of the school's students and staff members were unaware of Schnackenberg's death until they arrived at school Friday morning, Olson said. They probably came expecting a rather festive day, given the homecoming events scheduled for that night, he added.
The shock of the news hit hard, Olson said, made evident by the fact that more than 400 students out of a student body of about 1,150 left school early Friday to be with their families.
The school's homecoming dance has been postponed, and all the halftime events at the football game Friday night against Becker High School were canceled.
Schnackenberg, who played on the hockey team along with his brother, was a great kid who could come into a group and make the people start to laugh and have a good time, his hockey coach told Olson.
While Olson said he wasn't sure where he was driving to Thursday night, Schnackenberg used to live in Winona.
I have some friends whose kids go to Princeton High School and knew this kid. I feel bad for the truck driver who has to live with this.

If it was a suicide, thn the kid needed to grow a pair and tough it out. That is one of the most selfish, attention whore things I've seen since a friend of mine offed himself on New Years Eve 2000... and he was a selfish attention whore as well.
Offing himself the day before homecoming... he just immortalized himself and made everyone pay attention... selfish bastard.
My prayers and thoughts to the trucker who was endangered by this pitiful act...he's the one who has to live with it now.:geeza: Member of WCR Inc.

Sorry to hear. I know we lost 2 classmates in 8 months when I was in highschool. Total of 3 people from school died in car wrecks that year. The second classmate was a really good friend of mine. It was a tough thing to handle at the time. Brian was a tough one for the group of friends I had. I still remeber coming to school the next day sitting in spanish class hearing about it. Just something you don't want to beleive when you get told.
