I still dont agree with Childress's play calling, yes our running game showed signs of life.. but thats because he gave Taylor twice as many toutches as anyother RB in the league would need to get those 120 yards.. and dink and dunk 6-8 yard passes arent going to win games.. if you watched Philly last night.. where Childress came from.. wich is still a "West Coast Offence" had tons of passes 15+ yards out.. i was at the game n i dont think i saw more than even 1 attempt at a 15+ yarder

its stupid.. our D is going to be so battetred and worn out of they keep going this way, we cant even convert on 3rd and short and arent willing to take our shots in the endzone in the first 1/4 on 4th and 2.5 WTF! Childress

Oh i think the big reason Childress doesnt have an O coordinator is cuz he was a gift at Philly, Holmgren called all the plays, he just worked with the QB's... big deal.. so he figures i'll go to a new team not hire an O coordinator cuz their useless I know all..

I was at the game, and we booed Childress mercilessly. This 'Dink em Dizzy' offense is so extruciatingly frustrating to watch, it drives me nuts. We need to take more shots down the field, even if they are not successful. It keeps the defense honest. When they are able to play 8 men in the box all day, you have to open it up with some 20+ yard pass plays. I am glad we are 3-2, but we could be an elite team if our offense was more explosive.

That's pretty much right on. As a defensive coordinator why the hell wouldn't I play 8 men in the box if they won't throw farther than 8 yards down the field?

Maybe childress just got sick of seeing the long ball fall through our receivers hands

I like Chester Taylor, he seemed to always be about 1 1/2 steps from breaking out beyond the defense, in which case he would have gone all the way. I think he will do well for us in the future.
