A kid that went to high school with my brother died earlier this summer popping a wheelie with no helmet, fell off, coma, death. Jimmah knows who I am talking about, and the guy that owns the Red Rooster bar in Long Lake just had to have his leg amputated because a garbage truck backed onto the road and he hit it. Every year I tell myself I am going to get my license so I can ride my bike, but when things like this happen, it makes me want to wait until next year.

Scroll to the VERY BOTTOM of the page. Jason was killed this summer in a motorcycle accident. I didn't know him outside of the forum, but through interaction with him online he seemed like a great guy. Ride safe people.

Thanks guys.... Ive been wanting a bike for a long time...But after seeing what happened to Shawn, and a couple other friends, and Now Robert. it makes me think more than twice. It still hasnt truely sunk in, but the tears are still there and the pain is still real. and to see people riding around with out helmets and proper equipment just makes me shudder. I dont know what people think sometimes. just dont have their head on straight, not thinking about the family and Friends that they could hurt along with themselves.
I hope that people will think twice before jumping on a bike with no helmet or doing stunts with out the right gear. its just not worth it in the end.

people horse around on motorcycles, and they die. i can get my speed fix on alot better vehicles than a bike.

I have always known that if I got a murdercycle the way I drive it would just be a matter of time.
At first I'd be careful. After a couple of months (if that long) I'd be much less careful and more aggresive. Then one bozo on their cell or some idiot doing an idiot move would be my downfall. I could be the idiot doing the idiot move too...

It's hard enough to keep my stang's body straight when I drive spiritedly, much less one with mods. Motorcycle for me is out of the question.

Sorry to hear about your friend S&S.
