I think the C6 is great, its a total step forward in the Vette's design. I love the new headlights and the lines are just sweet. I wish the new mustang took a cue from this car in advancing the style instead of going 'retro'.

The 'Vette is slightly retro...the fenders have the same sort of peaks as the '63-'67 vettes did...I like that, but I think the square door handle could have been done a little differently...and I'm not nuts on the headlights, but I guess when you see one go by in traffic and compare it to everything else around, it'll be pretty neat looking

I wonder what they mean by "performance versions".

I dont know if I like that...although I havent been much of a corvette fan with these later models. Give me an old one anyday...I dont know why but it looks porsche-ish in the front, heavy on the ISH.

I'd take one but I wouldn't want one. If anything I'd want one of the 95 Zr-1 versions. I saw one in Vegas one time. Not really a Chevy/Corvette guy though.

I like it, I have always wanted a 'Vette. They are just too expensive. I can't afford a $40K+ car, especially one that you can only drive in the summer.Comment

Well, find a nice used one. I almost bought an 01 Z06 that was at Grossman. It was Blue, with only like 7800 miles on it. Oh yea,they were listing it at $33K. That was before I'd talk them down....Originally posted by VELOCITY

I don't think they changed it ENOUGH. Side view from 100 yards away it's a gen 5 or even gen 4! Front view it's a Dodge Stealth!

Looks pretty much the same to me
The headlights look kinda Viper-ish to me. I wondered about the "performance version" myself. Isn't a Corvette itself supposed to be a performance car??? I suppose they meant an upgrade version like the Z06 eh..?F/S: '94 Cobra, Rio Red/Saddle, 34.5K Orig Miles, Light Mods, 20yr Owner.
