agreed,but they have had a bad reputation for along time ,precision tune is the same way

Precision tune is a complete joke in crystal area. pep boys is almost the same way, you have techs that dont know their head from a hole in the ground doing tire rotations, we're talking about complete moron's putting your tires on your car, they have to sign off on the installs, but 90% of the time nobody checks eachothers work, i did just because i dont want to have something come back on me. i expected someone to check mine, but i had to just double check everything before sending it out, nobody even cares.

I think with precision tune, alot of it has to do with who owns the store. Alot of these stores were bought on a payment plan (which probably isn't the best idea) and when the owner cant make their payments they probably do whatever necessary. I worked at precision tune for about a year. The owner had 2 stores that I would bounce in between. I was the lube bitch. The owner, managers and employees I worked with were all very honest people. In fact on more than one occasion working on a saturday I had heard customers call in to some mechanic show the radio and tell them of the great experience they had ad our store.

I had a Jiffy Lube f'up a coil pack on my Mustang during an oil change, and the owner told me he had a Precision Tune I could bring it to to get fixed LOL. Dumbass even sent me coupons, and truly didn't seem to get it.
