Ha! One night they blocked the road off and were doing the usual shake down for minors and such... When the cop came up to us he was being a real prick to us, and said something like "what are you guys a bunch of homos or something hanging out at this big sausage party?" Being the smartass I was at the time I couldn't resist so I replied with "That must be what brought you down here..." He didn't like that. He made us stay till everyone left and took all of us out of the car one by one and gave us the pat down... And then they tore our car apart trying to hit us for anything they could... I try to keep my mouth shut from now on and just bite my tongue. I miss Red Rock!

How about Black Dog road or was that the same thing. I thought there used to be quite a bit of racing back in the 90's on Black dog as well. Someone want to shed some light on this idea or why it is now bunk??

How about Black Dog road or was that the same thing. I thought there used to be quite a bit of racing back in the 90's on Black dog as well. Someone want to shed some light on this idea or why it is now bunk??

BD was a great spot back in the day and the parking lot was a great perk. It was tight and never really a completely straight stretch, but it was there. If I recall correctly 10-12 years ago a gril was raped down there and it lead to an increased police presence. You could always get some safe runs in however at bar close because every b'ville cop was out side of Hot Shots back then

My dad used to take me down there when I was a kid. Anyone remember the old crappy Charger/challenger with a Detriot diesel blower on it with a big ol guy. That car was pretty fast back then.

Yes, That was a great place to race in the late 80’s into the 90’s….. We loved it there!!!!
